Walking is what the Ardennes do best: rarely boring, always moving. We've selected routes from and around ArdenNest, each with its own character — river walks, heath paths, castle routes, short loops with kids. Per walk: distance, elevation, parking, and the most beautiful season. No 20-km marches unless you explicitly ask for one.
Our favorite family walk! Take the train from Dinant-Anseremme to Gendron and walk back along the beautiful Lesse river. Suitable for buggies and perfect for a day out.
Gendron-Celles
Adventurous walk with climbing and scrambling through the forest. Follow the GR126 along impressive rock formations and steep descents to the Lesse.
