Departure Checklist
Check-out procedure — vacuuming, kitchen and key handover
Thank you for your stay at ArdenNest. To prepare the house for the next guests, we kindly ask you to go through this checklist.

Cleaning is included when all items are checked off — otherwise, additional costs may apply.
General
Departure time: 10:00 AM (or 4:00 PM for late check-out)
Leave refrigerators and freezers on — do not turn off
Let us know you're leaving (doorbell or WhatsApp/SMS)
Hand in the key or deposit it in the key box
Close the door properly
The House
Leave tables clean (don't put chairs on tables)
Vacuum the ground floor: kitchen, living room, salon, entrance, stairwell
Don't forget the carpets
Put board games and toys back in their place
The Kitchen
Empty the dishwasher and put away dishes
Wash and put away all kitchen utensils
Clean the stove and oven (dish soap only)
Take food scraps with you (not in garbage bags)
Tip: suitable leftovers may go to the chickens!
Outside
BBQ: ash in the ash bucket, grill cleaned
Put sun loungers and outdoor toys back in their place
Bedrooms
Do NOT strip the beds (we do this)
Set windows to tilt position
Turn off heating in bedrooms and bathrooms
Damage or Remarks
Accidents happen, we understand. Please note any damage or remarks and report them to us.
The deposit will be refunded within 7 to 14 days after departure.
