From Ferme du Château to ArdenNest

Some of you have been coming here for years. Others have just discovered us. Either way: welcome, and thank you for reading.

We wanted you to be the first to know: our house has a new name and a new website. Ferme du Château becomes ArdenNest. The house hasn't changed — neither has the warmth. But we felt it was time the outside looked as beautiful as what you experience inside.

On the new site, we call it quiet luxury. Sounds fancy, but it's exactly what you already know: that morning when all 26 were sitting at the big table and the only sound was the coffee machine. The children gone all afternoon in the garden — coming back with dirty knees and the widest smiles. Cooking together in that kitchen, with that range cooker — feeling like a Michelin-starred restaurant for a moment.

To celebrate, we made a short film. Do you recognise it?

On the new site you'll find a lot more than before: a detailed page about the house, a neighbourhood guide with our favourite addresses — from the village café to the best fries around — and this journal, where we share something now and then. Not a weekly blog. Just small updates, a glimpse of the season, sometimes a tip that's too good to keep to ourselves.

We're around the house a lot this spring. If you'd like to come and see it, discuss a stay or simply give us a call — don't hesitate. We almost always pick up.
