25 Years On-Site
This is not a remote investment — we live here. Since 2000, this 1849 farmhouse has been our home. The entire concept is ours: a house where the group matters more than the individual room. You don't come here to sit in your room. That's why we chose large, open living spaces and quiet corners on each floor to retreat to. Every choice — from the layout to the two Buderus heating boilers — was made from one question: what does a large group truly need?

Checked After Every Guest
You should never be affected by the group before you. That's why we inspect the entire house after every stay: every cupboard, every plate, every glass, every pan. What's broken is repaired, what's missing is replenished — before the next guest arrives. It sounds obvious, but for a house for 26, it's not.
- Full inventory check — from the dish cabinet to the playroom, everything is counted and inspected.
- Double stock — we keep many items in duplicate. Broken or missing? Immediately replaced, without you noticing.
- Spotless on arrival — after every stay, the entire house is thoroughly cleaned. From kitchen to bathrooms, from living areas to bedrooms — down to the corners.

Fair Consumption
At ArdenNest, we believe in transparency. Instead of a high flat rate, with a direct booking you only pay for what you actually use in heating, water and waste processing. A small group pays less than a large one — it doesn't get fairer than that.

Designed with kids in mind
When grandma and grandpa bring the grandchildren along, you want the little ones to play safely while the adults catch their breath. That's why we designed the house and garden with that generational mix in mind: no hidden risks for toddlers, plenty of play spaces indoors and out, and furniture that survives a messy afternoon.

We compost your garden waste
We process all garden waste in an insulated 200-litre HOTBIN composter, in the middle of our 2-hectare garden. Something you rarely find at a holiday home.
- Hot composting between 40 and 60 °C — up to 32 times faster, odour-free and all year round.
- Guests join in: add wood chips yourself and children take home a little bag of compost.
- A closed loop: your waste becomes compost for the vegetable garden and borders of ArdenNest.
- We weigh the waste: composting means far less ends up in the residual container, sparing you the high waste cost of many group houses.
