The routes
Several signposted VTT routes (Vélo Tout Terrain) depart from Beauraing:
- Short loop (±15 km) — Ideal for testing your legs. Gently hilly with beautiful forest paths.
- Medium loop (±25 km) — More elevation and more technical passages. Nice single trails.
- Long loop (±45 km) — For experienced mountain bikers. Serious elevation and challenging terrain.
The terrain
Typically Ardennes: alternating forest paths, single trails, country roads and occasional tarmac. The terrain is hilly with short, steep climbs and technical descents. After rain some paths can be muddy — that's part of the fun.
