    Challenging

The forests around Beauraing offer excellent mountain biking. Various signposted routes from 15 to 45 km take you through dense forests, over hills and along rivers.

    The routes

Several signposted VTT routes (Vélo Tout Terrain) depart from Beauraing:

    • Short loop (±15 km) — Ideal for testing your legs. Gently hilly with beautiful forest paths.
    • Medium loop (±25 km) — More elevation and more technical passages. Nice single trails.
    • Long loop (±45 km) — For experienced mountain bikers. Serious elevation and challenging terrain.

    The terrain

Typically Ardennes: alternating forest paths, single trails, country roads and occasional tarmac. The terrain is hilly with short, steep climbs and technical descents. After rain some paths can be muddy — that's part of the fun.
