Just across the French border, in Fumay, lies Terraltitude — the adventure park of the Ardennes. The absolute showstopper: the Fantasticable, a 1.2 km zipline where you fly at over 100 km/h above the Meuse. Not for the faint-hearted.
What you can do
- Fantasticable: 1.2 km zipline over the Meuse at 100+ km/h
- Accrobranche: tree climbing course for all levels with suspension bridges, ropes and nets
- Catapulte: get catapulted 18 metres into the air by elastic cords — in 2 seconds
- Tour des Aventuriers: jump tower for those wanting even more thrills
- Bois des Nutons: play area for little ones (2-11 years) with huts, trampolines, karts and barefoot path
- Paintball
Why we recommend it
This is the only park in the region with an activity of this calibre. The Fantasticable alone is worth the trip. And with the Bois des Nutons, there's plenty for younger children too. Seasonal — usually open from April.
